Got A Minute?
Being patient as we wait on the Lord takes a lot of faith and trust. We have to trust that God has good reasons for saying not now. We know God looks at things different than we do, because He sees stuff from an eternal perspective.
Peter says, with the Lord one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like one day.
There’s a story about a fellar who ask the Lord, “is it true that a thousand years to us is but a minute to you?” “Yes” “Then a million dollars to us must be a penny to you”. “Yes”. “Lord would you give one of those pennies?” “Sure, just give me a minute”.
Most of the time we want what God can give us, but we don’t want His timing. We don’t think the work He’s doing in us while we wait is as important as what it is we are waiting for.
By being patient, trusting, and waiting, shows we know that God knows what he is doing. Waiting shows me I’m not in charge. I’m not just waiting around, I’m waiting on God. I can trust His wisdom and timing. I can wait with confidence. The most important thing we can do while in waiting is prayer. Prayer lets us wait with out worry.
Think about this, there was one experience Jesus never had. He had experienced virtually every human emotion—sorrow, joy, pain. He had been tied, angry, and hopeful. But there was one thing He never experienced; He was never frantic, He never panicked. So we can say God is never desperate. When you hear desperate thoughts, you can know it is not God speaking.
I’m only saying while you’re waiting on God to answer your prayers, be patient, and trust that God is working on something important in your life.

God Bless and WE love you
