Am I so blind that I cant see

The way You have protected me.

Am I so deaf that I cant hear

The sound of Your voice when You are so near.

Lord, open my eyes for they are weak,

Help me pay close attention when you speak.

There is so much You want to share,

But I am so busy; I dont know You are there.

All of creation adores Your name,

Why do I have trouble doing the same?

Give me a thirst and longing for You,

Fill me with Your Spirit through and through.

Show me Your glory and holiness,

For You are my Strength, my Refuge, my Fortress.

Extend to me Your mercy and grace,

My Redeemer, my Savior, and I give You praise.

Give me a heart that beats for Your will,

Teach me to be quiet and learn to be still.
