The Fort Smith (Ark.) Museum of History will hold a Motorcycle Memories Exhibit June 1 through Sept. 1. The museum is at 320 Rogers Ave. and will be open from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. daily except Mondays. June 13-15 Father's Day Weekend Native American Pow-Wow Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, 239 Turpentine Creek Lane, Eureka Springs, Ark. The 2008 State H.O.G. Rally Arkansas will be June 19 - 21 at Fort Smith, Ark. The event Web site is www.arstatehogrally.com. There will be a centralized rally site in downtown Fort Smith. There will be musical entertainment, self- guided rides, poker runs, casino gaming, bike games and a bike show. Registration is $45 for H.O.G. members or guests (all guests must be sponsored by a H.O.G. member who is registered for the rally - any registered H.O.G. member may sponsor 1 guest). All pre-registered H.O.G. members will receive a free rally shirt and pin when they check in at registration on the rally site (NOTE: Pre-registered guests do NOT receive free shirt & pin); On-site registration will be available. June 20-22 ABATE For Missouri State Rally . Gates open at 2 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m. Saturday. It will be held at Shoemaker Rv's, 955 N. Macon St., Bevier, Mo. Admission is $25 for weekend $15 single day pass. $5 discount with a current ABATE card. There will be a poker run, field events, bike show, live music,beer garden,vendors, tattoo artist ,food, lake,camper hook up's available NO GUNS,PETS,OR ATTITUDES ALLOWED. The Ride to Thunder Bay Canada will be June 21 - 29. The ride begins at 8 a.m. It starts at the St. Charles Soccer Complex, 3801 Mueller Road in St Charles, Missouri and is sponsored by St. Charles City Parks There will be a stop every 90 to 100 miles for rest and fuel. The ride will go through Iowa, Minnesota, and Ontario Canada with stops at the National Motorcycle Museum, the Mall of America and Kakabek Falls. The ride fee is $900 per person based on double occupancy. The fee includes all hotels, and the museum. The ride ends on June 29 in St. Charles. For information call (636) 949-3377.
The Lynchburg Motorcycle Rally will be June 20 - 22 beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday. It will be at Weisman Park, Lynchburg, Tennessee. The event includes a bike show, poker run, day ride, bike games, vendors, music and camping. All bikes can enter the bike show. Trophies awarded for best bike in each category. Thunder & Chrome Benefit Ride For Alzheimer's will be held June 28 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., hosted by Jones Harley Davidson in Little Rock. This is an open ride for all bikers and the public of all ages!!!! There will be live music, vendors, a poker run and bike show. Admission for riders is $20, which includes an event T-shirt, free hot dog lunch and the poker run. (Extra poker hand is $5). Gate admission is $10 for non-riders. Kids 12/under get in free.
