By Grace There is nothing I could have done I did not deserve it but if I did then it would not be grace I tried so hard only to fail my best would not do so I fell on my knees And cried out to You You reached out Your hand to pick me up then dusted me off and set me on higher ground You watered me with Your spirit You shone your rays of love on me and You helped me to grow You are holding my hand now I will not fear for I know You will not leave me here Your spirit Lord is upon me it is your words I shall speak You are there to guide me You will not let me stray Lord cover me with Your glory fill me with Your spirit shine on me with Your love Radiate through me Lord teach me to soar release me to do Your work set a fire in me that can not be quenched Show me Lord what to do help me to always depend on You Help me lord for I can not do it without You I will go where You lead help me to always depend on You I trust You Lord You will not let me fall for You saved me by Your grace it is by Your grace that I will stand for You Deborah Gallant
