We don’t always get what we want out of life, day in and day out. Sometimes the struggles we have leaves us wondering even is our Lord paying attention to us or even does he know what is going on in our lives. I can assure you he is paying attention to us and he dose know what going in our lives.
I know a story about an ole boy who was watching a cocoon of a butterfly and one day he noticed a small hole in it. He set and watched the butterfly trying to get out of that little hole, that ole butterfly worked and worked for hours trying to get out and finally the butterfly was just too tired to try any more. Well this ole boy thought he’d be a friend and help the butterfly out of that cocoon, so he cut the rest of the cocoon off. Well the butterfly just laid there the body was real fat and it’s wings were all shriveled up. This ole boy watched the butterfly for a long time thinking, anytime it’s wings would UN shrivel and the butterfly would fly away but it never did. The rest of the butterflies life was spent just crawling around with a fat body and shriveled up wings.
With his act of kindness what this boy didn’t know was that the restriction of the cocoons and the struggle for the butterfly to get through that little hole was Gods way of forcing fluid form the body of the butterfly into this wings so that it would be ready to fly once it worked its way out of the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been, and we could never fly. So have a nice day and struggle a little.
