Work Our Faith I am blessed to be a part of a Beth Moore Bible Study, Just last week we studied Gods Mercy, Grace, Strength and his precious Love. We face trials everyday that allows us to “Work our Faith”. I think I sometimes take for granted the things God blessed me with on a daily basis. Sometimes things happen and I have to ask for more. I have learned that each day as I raise God knows exactly what measure of his Grace and Mercy I will need to thrive that very day. And he allows me to draw from his strength as needed. We all, as children of God’ know some things in this life cause us to need more. He is always so faithful to give us exactly what we need, and like none other, is the Love of our dear Heavenly Father. Praise him. My earthly father has suffered physical and mental and medical conditions for a very long time. Very recently I began to ask God to let his suffering come to an end. I came in from work Friday April 25, 2003 to learn that God did the very thing I asked. My Dad had past on. Knowing as I do, how long my Dad suffered. And how wonderful it would be for him to suffer no more and for him to see God face to face. Still, quite naturally, I mourn the loss. I realized that day the importance of accepting Gods grace, mercy and his strength and thanked him for his mercy. Not being able to be with my family during this time of mourning has caused me to rely only on my God. In every situation rely on God. He will pull you through. We can do nothing without him. My Bible tells me in all things to give thanks. Father above my God of Love, I am thankful through this loss that with you, I have gained so very much. Isn’t it ironic just when we need more our Heavenly Father is waiting to do that very thing, give us more? Let us meet on our knees Humbly in Prayer Elizabeth Porter 04/29/03
